Why are charcoal-roasted chicken, more delicious than other? or is it?

so yeah.. I'm wondering why people here are saying charcoal-roasted chicken are more delicious than roast chicken cooked in another way.. is there an explanation to that? I cant find it on the net.. or is it false?
