magilives Yes you are in an unusual deal. I haven't ever thought of owning a house that is on rented land. At least you get some added benefits with the tennis courts etc. I too would need to get a bank loan to buy a house but at the moment the loan repayments would be...

sjohnson628 Wow That's not good. Furniture can be very costly to replace especially if he is scratching on more than one piece. I would highly recommend getting the product you are contemplating because you may only need to buy it once and he will be cured of this...

ctcagrrl Thanks so much! I've looked at them also and that might be what it comes down to. We'll have to have his nails cut by the vet prior to applying them, but we just can't take the furniture clawing any longer. Thanks again!

allie4712 If it is an inside cat it should be declawed other wise it will tear up everything in the house but it is an outside cat then that's the worst thing you can do it.

vmoore709 My cat is declawed, but only the front claws. He still has the back ones in case he ever gets out. Those are the ones they defend themselves with.

wildguy2 I have 2 cats one declawed the other is going to be shortly, theyare safe as they are housecats and never leave home...and if anyone or anything ever tried to harm them the cat would be the least of their worries...

kittykatzz I don't honestly think that it's "right", however i DID have my cat declawed when he was a kitten at the same time as he was being fixed.. I did this because I was pregnant with my first child and didnt know how the kitten would react.. or if he may scratch...
