avmaxfan Its not slow.Though it is a little slower than Xp,its hardly noticeable to be worried about.It is much more reliable and stable.Its the best ms os yet.

avmaxfan As far as I know it does not have a full form.You see longhorn was the codename for vista, ie vista is the official name.

avmaxfan I have got windows vista ultimate.To be honest with you,its not the same as xp,it is more advanced and better.But on the downside there is software incompatibility issues,so better to wait for 1-2 years before you upgrade.

avmaxfan I have windows vista ultimate and I love every single feature of the vista,be it speech recognition,snipping tool,the new games,the interface,hi def audio tech,better networking,and I think that vista is not slower than xp.Its as fast if not faster than XP
