marguicha I agree. Yet this book (Top of the world) was a bestseller and was also made into a movie. On rereading in now, I find it interesting. I don´t know whether the author studied the inuits before writing his novel. I bet there are lots of books that are written...

Judy Evans I can understand how uncomfortable it could be when a person is not used to such temperatures. We found Tasmania to be very cold according to our standards.
