Guys, i would like to know some cool ways to keep a computer fast and upto date. right now iam using a registry and temporary file cleaner called Ccleaner. its quite effective, but any other softwares that might help?

My internet is bundled with my phone and Direct TV and I have one of those little boxes that they give you for your DSL. I keep losing my internet connection, it happens any time of day or night, no special pattern to it....

bhargavkrr have a check with your wires also... as you are saying it works sometimes so wiring may be ok.... just check with the modem.... and let me know the status.....

bhargavkrr norton cant be installed when u have virus in your system or if there is another antivirus installed....... if you are talking about downloading if from net then try different locations do download it and use the key given to you by the company...... or...

bhargavkrr just buy some good no of referrals in two or 3 sites and just settel with them .... i am just having my holidays and i am still student... so have lots of time and no work to do.... so i spend all my time on ptc sites and finding new stuff online.......

bhargavkrr what is the need to use smaller splitter??? do you use two phones??? if yes even then as you told there must be no problem....... if u are using two phones the remove one of them and see weather it works...........

bhargavkrr i have faced that problem only when i didnt use splitter they gave......... just check out wether you have any other other phone connected paralelly

bhargavkrr below solution helps you...... as i too had the same problem previously...... they will give a splitter to connect the phone and dsl.... if u use that then u wont have any problem...........
