I got mine wwhen i was 17, but against my better judgement, i decided to go with the Intel graphics media accelerator for my laptop and while it does generally fine for everyday computing, it cannot play some of the better computer games from recent years......

What if you are planning on using CAD programs, such as autocad 2009, wouldn't the quad core proccessor be more apt to handle the work, or would that be the job of the graphics processor? Also, with respect to running virtual machines, i have a 2.0 Ghz core 2...
