bmahfood Also, many people do as you suggest, studying the Bible closely and prayerfully, yet come to completely contradictory conclusions. That's because the Bible holds contradictory doctrines.

bmahfood Your argument is one that has been proposed by many, including by the Bible itself. However, natural explanations for the things you call mysteries are well able to account for these phenomena. No need for the supernatural.

bmahfood magicrose, I think anyone who reads the Bible objectively will come to the same conclusions you did. As long as people don't decide before reading it that it's all true and has no contradictions, and that God exists and is good, they will be blown away by the...
