Cortisone shots - Has anyone had them??

I have Spinal Stenosis and Friday it started again, The specialist said to try cortisone shots, do they help? I hear they are really painful? Anybody under 50 that has Spinal stenosis please let me know. Thanks

bmuncy I have arthritis in my knee. I had to get a cortisone injection every six months until started taking glucosamine 1500mg once a day. I could not even squat or be pain free until this. I will never, never be without it. My horse also has arthritis and I put her...
