momokoseiya That is wrong on so many levels. First of all, it is illegal. Your friend can sue for the cost of the dress and whatever else she bought for the wedding. I think there might be other reasons. Maybe the groom wanted one of HIS friends in the party?

ScrappinHappyMom I agree they should talk in person. Maybe her friend just needs someone to talk too it would seem all of the stress of trying to make the perfect day has affected her. If that doesn't work I would take the money for the dress, and move on.
