Ok, I have a website and made handmade soap from scratch. Some people, (not all, just some) have an aversion to homemade soap. I'm looking for reasons why someone wouldn't or would like it, and maybe dispell a few myths about it....

bunbunrocks Even commercial soap contains lye, they get around it though as listing the saponified values on the ingredient list. Sodium tallowate is beef fat, but saponified. (or palm kernelate etc). We can't get away with this though, as most of us don't have the...

I admit it, I constantly forget to put on sunscreen. I know I should, especially since I'm a fair-skinned blonde. But when I do remember, I use either a #45 or a #50. What number do you use when you put your sunscreen on?

bunbunrocks Being on the receiving end it does hurt. Yesterday when I logged on I had a 10. Posted a disagreement to a post for someone asking for opinions, and today have a 7. It is hurtful, but I'll get over it. And hope that I can see that pretty 10 again!

bunbunrocks I totally understand.. Same reason I spend 100 bucks on a lb of cocoa absolute for lotion and sugar scrubs.. When you find something that works and you love, you have to stick with it!!!

bunbunrocks Yes, soap is made with fats as in oils and butters, not human fat like fight club! Now that would be something I would think to be naaaaasty!!
