danishcanadian I am not sure of THE oldest language in the whole world but I know that Latin, Greek and Aramaic are pretty old languages.

Gargoyle0134 Well, the oldest written one is Cuneiform from Sumeria, I believe? I do not know..nor does any scholar know the first spoken one, as it was not recorded. Probably it was in East Africa somewhere, because from what I believe the oldest know fossils of humans...

scarlet_woman the oldest still in use? i'd have to vote sanskrit,or variants of mandarin. but i'm pretty sure sanskrit's the oldest.

Modelcoy Perhaps for me, Aramaic is considered to be the oldest language in the world simply because its never been used and heard often especially in Ethyiopia. They say they still use this old language... but not that popular

arddi2007 i did some quick research and it turns up that the oldest languageS of mankind are Egyptian and Sumerian, which were spoken since 3000 BC till now! that's old, huh? but some people say that the icelandic is the oldest language, but this fact was objected even...

roxanne271 When I first joined I had my real picture as my avatar, it was my boyfriend and I. But after some time went by I changed it and now my picture is still in my avatar, it is just neatly hidden!

brucekaushik i have picture that is created by me on my profile and i don't keep real pictures in my profiles in public domains as i feel that safety is first and it might be used by bad people.

sdas86 hi, You can see that I am not using my real picture as my avatar in myLot. I don't like to use my picture because I want to be a mysterious person. I will feel insecure if I am using my real picture. So, I will just use the avatar I normally use online...

greysfreak I have real my picture on my profile, and always do as well. I also have a music myspace as well, and the career I'm working towards is in music/entertainment, so I'm not all that worried about strangers seeing my picture. If anything I need to get used to it....
