carpe1cn i agree with you. you should have no problem asking. afterall, they had no problem ACCEPTING it. if they are having huge financial issues, give them time, but also don't let your friends walk all over you.

Why does a lot of people want to get a tattoo or a body piercing?

Don't know...but I guess it's a "cool" thing... For some reason, it looks attractive. I had it once and I know that, "Oouch!", it hurts! Still, I think people are really crazy about it specially in the US.

carpe1cn i'm definitely not insecure, & i love body piercings & tattoos. i can say this as a fact, they will never go "out of style", because to most people who get it for the right reasons [not so others will "think they are cool"] it represents a lot more than just...

carpe1cn i got my piercings because i personally find it attractive onme & other people. it doesn't hurt to me, & if someday i decide i don't like it, i can take it out. simple as that!
