catalady Don't worry Ross, it does improve a little when you have been on here for a while. Initially it is obsessive and compulsive but those feelings will wain , lol. You don't need to check in for therapy just yet :o)

catalady I just love the philosophy of carboot sales..you sell your unwanted item to someone who does want it...you make money and space and they get an item they want at a good price. It's good that you do have somewhere to sell your unwanted items though jenny

catalady I don't know about garage sales Downwindz, as they seem to take place more in USA, but at carboot sales here in the UK items are never sold for huge amounts of money - people go to them to find a bargain :o)

catalady Hello Downwindz, I wasn't aware that this kind of thing doesn't happen in your part of the world, I suppose the places where you say you can rent and sell your unwanted stuff is much the same though. Maybe you could be the first person to hold a garage sale...

catalady I think nowadays, with the economical climate and possibly being more aware of the effect on the environment, people are much more open to buying used things than they were a few years ago.

catalady Yes, i think we are all becoming a lot more aware and conscious of the effects we have on the environment by just trashing stuff - which has got to be a good thing
