I think it is so stupid. I think people can choose for themselves if they want to wear it. If you die because you didn't wear it then it is only your fault. I understand the need for children seat belt laws cause the kids can...

cburtz You make a good point. I never thought of that. I just hate the law telling me I have to wear one. I would wear one even if it were not a law it is just the principle of it.

cburtz I agree that they save lives. There are few times that they take lives as well. I just don't think that the government should tell us that we have to wear them. It should be our choice. It hurts no one but yourself if you do not wear it.

I really try too, but I have a hard time sometimes with who I think deserves it. I am told you get more $ if you get a best response, but I don't know cause I have never gotten one before.

How many people have a tivo or dvr and do you like it?

I have both and I like the tivo better except it only tapes one thing at a time and my dvr can tape two. I don't know what I would do if I never got either one!

cburtz I think my husband has it set up on a spliter cause we can watch one show on the tv and the dvr can record two. We use the input on the tv and the dvr only works on the s-video setting so that the tv setting just has the cable on it. We don't do it often...

cburtz Thanks! What you describe is basicaly Weight Watchers. They teach you about portion control and moderation. Good luck to you too.

My daughter was born at a whopping 9 lbs 12 oz!!! When the doctor pulled her out the nurse in the room said "Holy Moly!!" lol

cburtz The little kids dress up in costumes and go from door to door collecting candy. It is all Hollow's Eve. The day before All Saints Day. The costumes are supposed to scare off evil spirts and the candy is just for fun!

cburtz Wow I can't believe you have never heard of Weight Watchers. It is kind of like a Jenny Craig, but much better cause you don't have to buy their food. They just teach you how to eat better so you will lose weight.
