now that the nba season is about to start, what are you thoughts on the deals and who are the main contenders for the championships next year? we had one blockbuster trade, but other than that, only a few tweaks to most teams.

cdcale I don't think celtics will definitely win, although they are almost guaranteed to get as far as ecf. San Antonio, Phoenix and Dallas remain strong, while the Chicago still have a young but talented team which might get pretty far. Miami might still win another...

for ak to come out and say he want to give up his $$$$$$ to go to over seas, i say let the cry baby take his ball and go home. what does everyone else think.

cdcale I think this might help them anyway, allowing them to sign some new players since he isnt worth the money he's being paid in my opinion.

cdcale As a laker fan, I really hope Odom, Kwame and Bynum will have a breakout year. However, i don't think that will happen, and we will end up being the 8th seed, or maybe 7th if we are lucky. We need that one more big player who can give us a legitimate 2nd...

cdcale well, i think allen, pierce, and garnett almost pretty much guarantee a top 4 seed in the east. In the west though, I'm not too sure the spurs can repeat their championship. Their players are getting older, and they're not making any huge changes. The suns...
