How many posts do I have to make before I see any earnings?

Seriously, I was hoping to make at least 1 cent a post but after two I have yet to see a change in the .00 my lot earnings? what do I have to do to see that number start to go up?

1. Izzit true that the more the sentences we respone to a discussion the more cents we earn? 2.Do we earn more cents by posting more new discussion or we earn more by replying to others discussion?
