What was the first book that turned you onto reading?

The band Finger Eleven wanted to know, so I thought I can start a discussion here! Mine was the Outsiders by S.E. Hinton - they made us read it in Grade 8. But it sure got me hooked! What about you?

Not sure if you're familiar with this, but about a month ago, there were a set of sextuplets that were born in BC. 2 of them died shortly after while 4 of them were struggling to survive. The doctors wanted to give these 4 babies...
