Do you think 8 is too young for a mobile phone?

My ex wants to give my 8 year old her own phone to keep on her where ever she goes. Do you think this is too young. Let me know your thoughts

cole34_17 Way too young..they should still be with an adult. This might be the age of technology but there has to be some limits.
