blueman if you are addicted to internet then you need to have a firewall and antivirus installed above any other software, but if you seldom use the internet then you need softwares like ms office and other useful stuff.

september_1st Oh, and maintenance and security applications like: System Mechanic (general PC maintenance), McAfee (antivirus), ZoneAlarm (firewall), AdAware / SpyBoot (anti-spyware).

webbuff definitely it would be Windows Office and YM messanger. =) because i work in research so office software is what i need i type do worksheets etc.. and YM so that i can keep touch of my friends online all the time =)
