xp or vista?

WHICH DO YOU PREFER? I ve heard alot of complaints about vista and my friend is discouraging me to upgrade my xp to vista. If youre a user of xp and vista can u tell me there PROS AND CONS....thanx.

coolsun85 Yup microsoft comes out with updates regularly and a friend of mine has also been able to run vista better by applying non official patches.

coolsun85 I think TFT is the best option for general purpose computing, but if one is a graphic designer, animator etc should go for CRT coz CRT has more brightness and does not have any motion slags

Any one can please tell me if SATA II hard disks are available in india or not. if yes please tell me where i can buy it.

coolsun85 Thanks for the advice, i know that there is know visible difference in IDE and SATA while working but when talking backups or doing mirroring SATA proves about 10-15 % faster than ide drives, that is why i was thinking that SATAII may be even faster

coolsun85 I had played halo on my pc and i could not find a way to play multiplayer. Therefore I thought that it does not support multiplayer
