danishcanadian If I had to choose between a movie or a book, I'd rather read the book. The movie doesn't leave anything to the imagination. I'd rather read a book and interpret the story my way, than have it put up on a screen for me, infront of someone else's eyes.

Geminigirl I usually do not like the movie interpretation of a book. It usually seems to come up short. The Lion, Witch and Wardrobe was one exception where I was totally pleased with the outcome. That was one of the best adaptations ever!

coolcatzz LOL it depends on whether I have read the book or not. If I have read the book then I usually don't like the movie because it doesn't capture the detail a book can. But if I haven't read the book and they make a movie then I'm all for it and usually enjoy it...
