Seriously, what's the point of having an amber alert interupt primetime t.v.? I'm not going to jump in my car and look for the guy? Can't we wait until the new? WDYT? I have a baby, but what good is it going to do to tell T.V...

Magikrose The whole point in telling the people at home is that IF they happen to go out and in the area where the child may be they can keep there eyes open. If it were your child out there missing you would want every single person possible ti keep there eyes open...

sedel1027 I think they are very important. The Amber alerts need ot be braodcasted on TV, radio and on the Freeway/Highway signs. This gets the info out there and gets as many people as possible to start paying attention to the people around them. Thankfully there has...

denax1 I guess it's important because you might turn off the TV, get in the car and drive somewhere. OR maybe you just got home, turned on the TV and saw the amber alert. You could have just been on the same road as the person. I also thinks it helps the parents...

Have you ever adopted a pet from the pound? We rescued one of our cats from the pound when she was a kitten and I would definitely consider adopting another one in the future. Here's a picture of her:)

Mithhen Yes, our dog is from a shelter. His name is Jethro. he is the sweetest thing. He's part hound and part lab. Looks like an oversized beagle. I thought I had a pic on the computer of him, but can't find it. All the pics of animals are adorable.

trish32 Yes. We adopted a beautiful, male yellow lab from the pound. He was a wonderful dog. Our current 4-legged baby, Daisy, was on her way to the pound and we convinced the people to let us have her rather than take her to the pound.

Polly1 Thats how I get most of my animals. I don't go to the pound, they are usually strays that adopt me. Here is a pic of my latest adoptees. I have 2 of them left, I will keep the last 2.

glgcpa I adopted my puppy from the pound. He was adopted on Halloween. He's 8 weeks old and weighs 3 pounds. He is so cute and fun to play with.

Do you do any of these things when you're sleeping? I used to sleepwalk some when I was little.

asimo603 I snore if on that day I exhausted. I never talk in my sleep or sleepwalk. Hopefully, I will not be sleepwalk as for me, sleepwalk is the most dangerous thing compare to snore and talk in sleep. I have a niece aged 12, she always sleepwalk.

alexis_strange I only ever snore if I've got a cold, which is probably true of everyone. My partner snores when he's been drinking alcohol, and i have a housemate who snores and sleeps with one eye open - I'm not kidding!! It's so strange to see and he never believed us...
