Have you seen people eating banana as side dish for curd (yoghurt) rice?

Hai one of my relative was eating curd (yoghurt) rice with banana as side dish. It was an odd thing for me. But he said he can eat fast if banana is there. Do you eat any such odd combination of food items? Have you seen anybody...

dhoomravarahi My husband sprinkles a lot of sugar on Upittu (kichidi) to make it more tasty. My Uncle eats a big bowl of jaggery pieces as side dish for meals. My in-laws enjoy eating curd rice with ripe mangoes squeezed into it.
