Metallica = Best Band Ever?

It's no question that Metallica are the pioneers for everything Hard Rock, but could they be the best band ever?

dylanct92 I agree that metallica is a hell of a beastly band, but the best band ever....? i dont know about that one. some of there songs do tend to get old and most of there music sounds the same. i am a fan but not their biggest one.
