Earthmum I find that as I do get comfortable with the other parents I am more myself - I'm not wearing yoga clothes all the time anymore and I'm starting to talk a little about what I'm really interested in. The adults really like me because the kids LOVE me.

Earthmum Thanks - knowing you are out there doing your own thing helps. Sometimes you feel like everyone grew up and forgot about what it's like to be an individual.

Earthmum My kids are little (8 and 5) and don't get a lot of homework. This is difficult because there is not a lot of routine around it yet. If my 8 year old has homework she does it right after school because they go to bed quite early still.

Earthmum I guess this has more meaning if your mailbox is not attached to your house. Mine is. I check mine once per day, when I'm bringing the kids home for lunch.
