elanpotter Are you sure she's not coughing up blood . . . that could be a sign of a respiratory infection. No matter what the cause is, your cat needs to go to the vet as soon as possible. Hopefully, all she needs is a good round of antibiotics. Good luck!

elanpotter Plead "not guilty" initially; he can always change it later. He can also contact the prosecuting attorney, who may or may not discuss the case with him. His public defender, however, should be communicating more with him.

elanpotter A restraining order isn't going to prevent a psychotic person from violating it; however, it does provide proof of aberrant behavior in the past and violators will pay a heavier penalty for breaking it.

elanpotter I've rolled cigarettes before to save money, but it was a pain in the rear. Now, I use an e-cigarette. The initial cost is a little high, but it's a lot cheaper in the long run - and healthier, too!
