Ouch!!!...Slammed my finger

I slammed my finger in a door just now and there is this bright red boil on it, has this happened to anyone before? Can it cause a blood clot? What should I do? (and yes, I know this is no substitue for getting medical attention)

Has anyone had a chance to hear this amazing album? I think it is far beyond amazing. The vocals are amazing and the production is as well. The message in the songs is strong and uplifting. If you havent heard it, I recommend it....
