What are the top ways to get a faster computer for you? For me, i run a series of programs, disk cleanup, disk defragment (comes with windows) registry booster, and system optimizer (uniblue bought), what do you do?

I recently got this game and to my severe sadness, i can only run it on medium. I have 1gb of ram and 8600 gt. Anyone who can run it high, do you have an 8800? Ram and cpu stats?
