whacks Material things are nothing compared to the kingdom of the heavens. We should do everything including selling all our property for the kingdom of the heavens. We should deny ourselves of earthly possessions.

luzamper Our earthly possessions are not commensurate or could never equal the kingdom of God and so we should do everything to the extent of forgetting everything we have on earth to be able to enter the kingdom of God.

erminiasanjose The kingdom of heaven is very precious and does not equal all our possessions on earth. If necessary, we should surrender all our earthly wealth in lieu of the kingdom of heaven. No material things can buy the heavenly realm.

erminiasanjose Loving my enemies and praying for them? It's so difficult. But since it is a commandment of God, I'd try to learn to love my enemies and pray for them and perhaps if my attitude is changed, I could already do this.

luzamper Yes, I can do it. This is very difficult to do really. But we have to learn as it is the commandment of God. God is love and therefore, there should be no hatred. Our hearts should be pure and clean.
