What are the stars next to people's names??

Hey i'm new in myLot, could some one tell me what the stars mean?

LadyMarissa You are given a Star after you reach 100 posts. The number inside the Star is your approval rating within the members of myLot. The number (11) after your name is how many posts you have so far.
