Is there a famous person who was born on the same day as you were and why do you think you are not famous too?!! I can't think of anyone famous who was born on the same day as me but Joan Rivers (if you could call her famous)...

I have just found out that Teresa Brewer (a beautiful voice from my era), Gary Cooper, Robert Browning and Johannes Brahms was born on the same day as me so there were other famous people as well as me born on that day! I cannot believe you are not famous...

It must be nice to have a friend to share a birthday with like 'T'. But just look at the presents you give and receive on the same day as your boyfriend. Rather exciting I reckon.

Well I suppose you can't get more famous than a USA President! As for the holiday I bet you celebrate just as well as the French do.

I never got that far Anne. I don't know if anyone was born on my birthday since I was born as I was thinking of the actual day. So your granddad was a real live Father Christmas then?!! That was handy for bringing your toys as a child I bet.

I went for a meal with some friends to a good restaurant the other night and one of our party ordered a medium cooked steak. It came to him as rare so he sent it back and asked for it to be cooked medium. It was still not to his...

The shame of it was it spoiled the evening for each of us so we will not be going there again. If you think of it 12 people are going to tell all their friends about the place so that could run into 100 people knowing and boycotting the place. Sad loss of...

The thought of eating something that someone has tampered with beats all! Thats a problem. We all trust our restaurants to treat us as good customers should be treated don't we?

The letter bit is quite right but I wonder if the owner really worries about that. Better still a placard over your head outside might perk his ideas up a bit!

Treat it as a family heirloom Anne, even though it is a bit bent. Just goes to show how strong you are.....!!

I don't live more than 10 miles from the beach but the weather we have been having is not conducive to sitting on it! Too much rain at present. But if I was in a sunny clime perhaps I would like to see the sunset disappear....perhaps a beer in my hand...

I suppose we all get times when we have no sunset or sunrise, well its there but we can't see it for the clouds. Here in the UK we have had so much rain that its good to see the natural elements of the world working at times. Thanks for your post.

Oh I don't feel depressed by the sunset. I just think that its a lovely finish to a good day. Perhaps I should get up a little earlier to see the sunrise and be thankful I did wake up!! Thanks for looking in.

Thats a lovely 'piccie' and I sometimes think how nice it would be to put those colours on to canvas but I'm no painter. The reds, blues and hues are fantastic aren't they. Thanks for your visit.

I live in the country and I have a good view over farm land and the colours of the sunsets are fantastic. Tonight it was a little cloudy but the sun reflected of them magnificently. Gorgeous. Thanks for posting.

I've had bi-focals now for around 40 years and have never had any trouble but I would not fancy these vari-focals they make now. Thanks for you post.

Yes you have the idea. If she wanted to look to the left or right she had to move her head which as a bi-focal wearer myself I have never had to. She is okay now she's back to her bi-focals. Thanks for posting.
