raijin I try my best to comment so they would know that I'm reading their views and opinions. Also to exchange informations for other members' sake. And also to see/monitor if the respondents are making original responses, and not spamming..

annepretty i think rating your comments can help but commenting on that posts doesnt add to their number,i agree with you there.but interacting with people makes your discussions more interesting.

blindedfox I actually find it more amusing to comment on replies to my discussions than replying on other discussions. =) I usually comment on all responses on my topics before I reply on others'. =)

ssh123 Some of the participants give wonderful responses to the discussion topic. Sometimes there is a lot to learn from their responses. I go back and give rating to the responses and then take a note of their responses, give apprpopriate comment.
