What's your impression of Japan?

There may be not many people who are familiar with the country of Japan as the Chinese. I am curious about how most westerners associate Japan with?

flecher There is no answer that's right or wrong because it's your impression. Thanks for sharing it. Japan means almost all about advanced domestice compliances to many but invasion and killings to most Asian people. That's why I wonder what that country look like...
