Is it really important that your friends make a good friendship with your gf/ bf? Or Did you have any trouble regarding to your friends and lover?

focus07 Yes,your friend's opinions must also be considered. Maybe they have more experiences about love than you that is why they are just concern about you. But it doesnt mean to say that if your friend doesnt like yout boyfriend, then you have to find another...
