Gilmore girls, last season?

i keep hearing that this is the last season for gilmore girls. does anyone know if it's just a rumour, or is it true? i would be so sad to see it off the air.

gabbysecretary2007 Kelly Martin had a baby a few months ago. I can't remember the title of the show she star on but it is on the Hallmark channel. ON another note her Series Christy is now out on DVD (March 20, 2007)
