gfeef01 interesting additions, think both would work. Hadn't crossed my mind about the bean sprouts, not sure how I'd source them but the flavour would be worth an experiment. Thanks

gfeef01 I meant bite as in solids, I was kinda hoping somebody had found carrot soup worked really well with something chunky mixed in. We served ours with sour cream too, though I prefer it without myself.

gfeef01 I've had it with rice as a thickener, but i prefer it with potato to thicken. or did you mean add it after the purée stage?

gfeef01 curry sounds interesting, i'd like to try that one. may add i to the list of ideas though it won't add much bite it will be an interesting extra flavour.

gfeef01 in the end I did try adding lemon juice to the vinegar, and it mostly worked. the smell has now faded thankfully.

gfeef01 oh if we were sure who it was we would have offered to wash their feet, it's horrible but we love all our friends too much to not invite them!

gfeef01 thanks, recovering is probably the hardest thing, it always seem to take so long, but it's good to know that the horizon will always hold the sunrise.

gfeef01 I so resonate with these feelings. Indeed some days are just dark and no light can seem to cut through, but the world of wonder and imagination are also a great comfort to me.

gfeef01 thanks that's a really helpful suggestion i'll go have a look at those now. i speak english but live in a country where prices are really low, our local pizza takeaway bill, for 2, is $3.50 so i find pricing for the rest of the english world a bit tough!
