School in South Africa

As most of you know Oprah Winfrey recently started a school in South Africa. I am not sure if she will ever read this but I am from South Africa. I have been more privileged than most kids in SA because I had two working parents...

glitters03 You are right...kids in the US really got it easy compare to other kids in other countries. I think that we should all educate our children when it comes to this issue....Karen

diabetes

What can you do to prevent diabetes? Or can you even do anything to prevent it? All of my father's side are all diabetec and at the age of 31 i'm afraid that i would get it to. Please share what you know about this disease....

glitters03 Thank you so much for your reply. You are right excessive weight can really lead to being diabetic. I noticed that members of my family who has weight issues are the ones that got it first. I try to have a healthy diet as i'm scared to have this disease. I...
