Salted watermelon - yucky or yummy?

Some salt the watermelons as salt brings out the sweetness, i have not tried it yet because it sounds odd to me as the fruit already is very sweet...how does a salted waterlon taste?

grammpaula I used to salt my watermelon when I was younger because that's the way my parents used to eat it. I no longer salt the melon. I don't need any added salt in my diet.

grammpaula I really like pineapple upside down cake. No one else in my family likes it so I don't get it very often if at all. If I could order any kind it would be that kind. If I'm ordering a birthday cake at the bakery I order white cake with white icing.
