Is your dog afraid of cats?

My dog shys away from cats. She will sit and bark if a cat is between me and her. She wants to be with me but won't even go by a cat if one is between us. These are cats in our own household. We just had a cat given to us but...

hannahh my neighbours dog a always comes over to ours to play. we have got 2 cats and he is always barking at them. when he comes across if one of the cats are about he barks at use but doesn't come past it to see us.
