How do you know when chicken is done cooking?

I never seem to know when chicken is done cooking. Either I take it out when it's raw, or when it's about to get burned. Is there a specific way to know how long chicken takes to cook?

hiitssomu actually i always used to see my number of postings after my post. sometimes that number encourages me to post more. i am not sure why they removed that one.
