Does anybody has techniques on body limbs (e.g hands, feet) creation in 3DsMax?

I've been using 3Ds Mx 7.0 for months now. I have my own techniques on creating (polygon-based) hands, feet and other detailed parts of the human body, but I thinking I took too much time on the creation... Does anybody here knows...
