its_pallab Thank you for your reply. I have gone through some articles and found that there should not be any problem. sata(1.5gb/s) and sata2(3gb/s) so I was little worried. Can anyone suggest me which hard disk i should bye. western digital or seagate?

I wanted to format my PC and compress two drives together. but while doing so I am not able to view all the the drives .only I can view is the the drive with the OS. Can anybody tell me the reason and solution for this.
