stopping the students' talking in class

These days when i have class there are students whispering .I tell them not to do it ,but they wouldn't listen, they just talk about what they are interested. I am a little angry.How can i stop them,friends?

jayaprakashraman if the class is very much informative and interesting, we can reduce it to some extent. To keep it interesting the class can be a two way interaction session
