jer31558 I think that growing up and not having a computer till I was an adult made the struggle less severe. I would hate to see what my own children will do in the future if something similar happens.

jer31558 truly they would both be tragic events to have to go through.....however with losing a computer you can get through it...but then again if the world ended you wouldn't know it anyways. Yep, they would both be pretty bad in their own ways.

jer31558 Now for me that would drive me crazy. We use computers at work....but they don't have the internet. I think the one thing that I regret is not doing more exercise. I had good intentions to do it, but just not much effort.

jer31558 It's surprising how much we relied on our computer....until we didn't have it to rely on. It's much easier finding answers on the internet than searching through books or other resources.

jer31558 We switched internet providers when we got our new computer as well and got a much better deal with a faster connection. I am really much happier with the set up we have now all around.

jer31558 That sounds like a plan to live by on both accounts. My problem is saving the money for the new computer...it seems that something always comes up and that money is needed for something of a greater need.

jer31558 I drive around 50 miles to work and can't cut back on that so unfortunately I have had to cut back on doing some of the things that I enjoy. Those food prices do hurt too. Why don't they raise the price of things that we don't need or have to have as much.
