Why do women wear lipsticks?

Most women in the western countries wear lipsticks. In India also, especially in the metro cities women have this habbit of wearing lipsticks. However in many parts of India it is considered an exotic practice. Can you please...

joan89cn In my personal view, I do wear lipstick because it can protect my lips.Because my lips is always injured result in short of water.Yeah,that's also makes me feel I'm beautiful and boost my self confidence.
