I believe our heatwave ends tomorrow. I got a decent swim in this evening as the sun was setting. It might be my last swim of the Fall. How was your day?

Lenore Plassman A dear friend made sure I got to the gym pool this morning. I do my own version of aerobics in the water for 30 minutes. Yup. Fall is finally going to show up soonish.

My nose was cold when I woke this morning. Autumn air had crept into the bedroom through the open window, and it had brought with it the gardeny smell of decaying leaves. The temperature was just above freezing when I stepped...

Amber Well, it’s 9:35pm, and I’m watching a playoff baseball game before bed, but tomorrow morning I’ll go by two different pharmacies to get prescriptions, and then drop something by the post office. So, not much is going on in the near future.

Loretta I'm stuck on the temperature was just above freezing and then you went to the shore for a swim. Today, it was slightly less busy so I could stay inside and concentrate on neglected chores, computer stuff and have a quiet breather.

Fiacre Banks @JudyEv Excellent. My car insurer always quotes a high renewal each year and when I phone to say I can get it cheaper elsewhere he immediately is able to “do something better”. If I didn’t phone I’d be paying a higher rate unnecessarily.

Judy Evans Exactly. If the filters were a dollar or two dearer, that would be okay but to get for the price of one was a bit staggering.
