The Purpose of Life

What do you feel the purpose of your life is? Is it more than just finding a partner, building a home and wealth, keeping healthy etc? And what is the purpose of suffering? Everybody I know has suffered from time to time.

derek_a Yes, I agree about suffering. When the Buddha sat in meditation he discovered that the root of suffering was desire. I see this as once one goal is reached, there is always another and what comes with that is the fear of failure or some sort of "what if?"......

VotreAmie I love both my mother and my father, there is no difference. I am closer to my mom because I am a woman and there are a lot more things that I can share with her than with my dad but it doesn't mean that I love my mother more than my father. My parents are...

umitcicek %90 of the countries play soccer today.To me,most popular sport is soccer(football).Basketball,baseball follows it.In USA,the most popular sport is NBA,baseball and American football follows it.The rating changes from region to region.

whyaskq It would not be morally right to have an affair, regardless whether the girl is younger or older than you. More so if she is married. As for being in love with a girl older than you, I guess there is nothing wrong as long as of both you can click and get along...

ahmed_vnit that si the positive side of it. You can say this again if India looses in 2011. Thing is that, these players getting hell lot of money because of the viewrs only. So atleast they should play decently. Loosing to minnoows like bangladesh is a crime....
