What would you like to have carved up on your headstone after you've headed off to wherever? Would you tell your loved ones somehow or hope they'll guess along the right lines when your time has come? Serious or funny ideas...

kelnic hmm - works ok until you end up flying back in your relative's eyes (like my grandparents did, bless them!)

kelnic Good point. Except knowing someone's luck their dog would sniff you out, you'd get dug up, and your poor descendents would end up cursing you. They'd be jumping all over your dead bones then. Rest in peace? Probably not.

Homework for primary kids?

Do you think children under 10 should be given homework by their school? The school I went to - a very good one - did not issue homework until my final year there. My eldest is about to start this September and straight away...

kelnic I do see your point, just as long as that is what happens, and its not just endless spelling lists and times tables. And surely life for them should have a bit of choice in how and what they explore without being dictated to out of school as well as within at...
