When you were a kid did your parents expect you to get straight a's?

my parents always expected me to get straight a's and when i didn't they got mad a little and i felt like saying chill its a high b, i can't be perfect all the time but i didn't.

Alexandria37 My parents didn't expect me to get straight A's but they would have liked me to get them. I did very well at my exams and got quite a few straight A's so they were happy enough with that.

twix My parents never expected me to get the best grades. they always expected me to do my best. You should have told them noone can be perfect all the time. How many people are best at everything?

Tenerifelynn Think Graham and I plan to make our own wedding plans and preperations then it is something we are both working together with! Something we are working on for next year! So a bit of time to go yet Lynn-Marie

trinihd I think it depends on whether you can afford it because a wedding planner will certainly make it less stressful for you and all you have to do is tell her (or him) what you want, and if you don't want to decide you can let the planner choose for you. So I am...

mememama I planned my own wedding, it wasn't lavish and it was a small wedding so it was easy. I am a cheapskate so I couldn't justify spending money on a planner when I could do it myself! Plus, my mother and mother in law helped, they really wanted to get involved...
