kimberlyt I think you just described MY husband. He's exactly the same right down to the "well if it only takes two minutes..." comment. I've tried the strike thing for a couple of days. Didn't work and I just couldn't take the mess. lol!

Protecting Garlic From Gophers?

I planted about 30 garlic bulbs last season and gophers (at least I think that's what they were, maybe moles?) eventually ate every single one of them! Anyone have any suggestions for keeping gophers away from my garlic this...

kimberlyt I was quite surprised too. As soon as the garlic started to get it's bulbs... they would first start to be pulled into the ground and then eventually disappear completely. I even caught a few gophers in there munching on them.
